Donation, CSR Grant & 80G Policy

This statutory framework articulates the receipting, tax exemption certificates, fund allocation ethics, and annual audit disclosures upheld by JITVA FOUNDATION.

1. 80G Income Tax Exemption Eligibility

All monetary donations remitted to Jitva Foundation by Indian citizens, HUFs, partnership firms, and corporate bodies are eligible for 50% tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

As mandated by Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) notifications, donors must furnish their valid 10-digit Permanent Account Number (PAN) at the time of remittance. The Foundation submits annual Form 10BD filings to the Income Tax portal, enabling donors to download their official Form 10BE Certificate of Donation directly from their Income Tax e-filing portal.

2. Mode of Remittance & Transparent Channels

Jitva Foundation accepts contributions exclusively through verifiable banking conduits:

  • Online Channels: Official secure gateway at jitva.org/contact supporting UPI, RuPay, Visa, MasterCard, and Net Banking.
  • Direct Account Remittance: NEFT / RTGS transfers made directly to Jitva Foundation’s corporate bank account under RoC Pune registry.
  • Cheque / Demand Draft: Drawn in favor of "JITVA FOUNDATION" payable at Pune.
  • Anonymous Cash Prohibitions: In compliance with Income Tax regulations, anonymous cash contributions exceeding permissible statutory limits are strictly prohibited.

3. Corporate CSR Partnership Accountability (Schedule VII)

For corporate partners investing under Corporate Social Responsibility mandates (Companies Act, Section 135), Jitva Foundation (MCA CSR-1 Registration active) executes formal CSR agreements guaranteeing:

Field Tracking & Media:

Daily roll calls, biometric attendance sheets, and high-resolution GPS geotagged classroom photos of training sessions in Manjari BK center.

Utilization Certificate (UC):

An itemized Fund Utilization Certificate signed and stamped by an independent practicing Chartered Accountant upon batch completion.

4. Foreign Contribution Regulation Disclosure

Jitva Foundation is an Indian registered Section 8 non-profit entity. In compliance with the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), the Foundation accepts donations exclusively from Indian bank accounts and Indian rupee-denominated instruments. Foreign remittances requiring FCRA clearance are not accepted without explicit prior governmental sanctions.

5. Public Inspection of Audited Financials

In keeping with our transparency commitment, annual balance sheets, income & expenditure statements, and statutory RoC filings are published on our Compliance Documents Vault for direct CSR committee scrutiny.
